Renault Kwid Now Available on Paytm, Customers can book the car at Rs.10000

Buoyed by the positive response Renault India is looking for new dimensions to sell its cars. The French automaker has tied up with e-commerce platform Paytm to sell the Renault Kwid. This is not the first time cars or bikes are selling in e-commerce platforms. But this is first time Renault India took such step.

The customers can now book the Renault Kwid from their Paytm wallet by shelling out Rs. 10000. All the variants of the Kwid are available on Paytm. Initially it is available for the customers based in Delhi-NCR. Expect the other part of the country to come under this scheme.

Kwid is a fast growing and very popular hatchback in India. Tying up with Paytm will help Renault India to boost the sales of the car. The automaker plans to sell other models through Paytm as well. Incidentally, Renault India is the first car maker in India to tie up with Paytm. Both Renault India and Paytm believe this initiative will attract the new age customers. The customers can avail attractive offers on Kwid booking for a limited period.

Renault Kwid has created a whole new niche in Indian market. It has showed how a hatchback can come featuring SUV like stance. The car is based on Renault Nissan alliance developed CMF-A platform. It sports a rugged and beefy appearance with thick cladding, taller stance. Despite being a small car, it offers ample space inside the cabin.

Renault Kwid gets power from a 799 cc petrol engine which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine churns out 53 bhp of peak power at 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm of peak torque at 4,386 rpm.

Being based on a lightweight platform the car offers ARAI certified 25.17 kmpl of impressive fuel economy. The car comes priced between Rs. 2.62 lakh to Rs. 3.67 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).
