Renault Kwid Live For More Reloaded 2018 Edition gets styling and feature additions to differentiate it from the regular model
Renault India is aware of the fact that the reach of its best-selling Kwid can be expanded further and thus wasted no time in introducing a new special edition of the hatchback at the beginning of the new year. The Kwid Live For More Reloaded Edition follows the 02 Anniversary Edition and the Climber variant as a new addition to the lineup.
To distinguish itself from the regular model, the Kwid Live For More Reloaded Edition comprises of added features and unique styling changes. As for the exterior, the special edition comes equipped with Electric Lime Streak on Outside Rear View Mirrors, two-tone arching roof bars, Steel Silver front grille inserts, distinctive decals in Electric Lime colour and much more.
Other interesting feature is the sporty Electric Lime coloured wheel cover on all four wheels. Customers are now allowed to choose between Sportz and Rallycross graphics as opposed to the Speedster graphics. The Renault Kwid Live For More Reloaded Edition is made available in five different paint schemes such as Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White, Fiery Red, Planet Grey and , Outback Bronze.
For increased safety, reverse parking sensor has been provided as well. The French auto major will sell the new special edition in both powertrain options as the 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol units give different buying options to consumers. The 799 cc three-cylinder petrol engine is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 53 bhp at 5,700 rpm and 72 Nm of peak torque delivered at 4,400 rpm.
On the other hand, the 999 cc inline three-cylinder DOHC petrol mill pumps out 67 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm at 4,250 rpm. The transmission duties are done by a five-speed manual as standard while AMT is restricted to the 1.0-litre models. With bookings open, the special edition has been priced from Rs, 2.67 lakh for 0.8L model and it goes up to Rs. 3.58 lakh for 1.0L MT and Rs. 3.88 lakh for 1.0L AMT (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
