Renault India has been offering the Lodgy MPV in the Indian market with mediocre sales response. The French automaker introduced a new top-of-the-line World Edition of Lodgy a few months ago but it has not done enough to increase the selling figures of the people carrier currently vying against Honda Mobilio and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Made available in the price region between Rs. 7.59 lakh and Rs. 12.68 lakh (ex-showroom prices, Delhi), the Lodgy is one of the products Renault will have a serious pondering on to introduce a facelift but instead the brand could be planning to compete in a slightly high end of the scale with a premium MPV. The company is more likely thinking about grabbing market share currently led by Toyota with the new generation Innova Crysta.

The styling elements seems to have been derived from the Scenic latest family of global Renault cars like the new-gen Megane and Captur compact SUV.
It features signature front fascia, sculpted surfaces with balanced proportions, distinctive C-shaped headlamp cluster, glass roof linking windscreen and rear window alongside four vertical wing-shaped slats housing Renault badge. The 2017 Renualt Grand Scenic could be offered in both five or optional seven seat configuration with ample cabin room and features.
