Pre-owned car business in India is growing day by day. Several automakers already entered the market earlier. Now the French automaker Renault also entered the pre-owned car business by launching the Renault Selection Whitefield in Bangalore. The company will launch more such facilities across the country in now years.
Renault Selection is a state of the art facility, which will offer the interested customers a platform to buy, sell and exchange certified pre-owned cars. In this facility customers can exchange certified pre-owned cars of any brand with a brand new Renault car. This facility will also offer the customers optimum deals on finance, insurance, warranty and road side assistance.
To launch its first Renault Selection the French automaker has partnered with Trident Auto and the first such facility is located at Trident Auto’s Whitefield dealership in Narayanpura village, K R Puram. The state of the art pre owned car outlet is situated over 21000 square feet and it can accommodate 100 cars at once. The company believes this facility will offer the customers an unique car purchase experience with a choice of wide range of multi brand cars.
All the certified pre-owned cars at the facility will go through a 199 point quality check system which will authenticate the car’s condition and deliver the customer satisfaction. The certified pre-owned car will come with warranty of up to 1 year or 20000 kilometers with cashless warranty claims which will be valid in more than 1000 authorized workshops across India. The warranty also comes with 24×7 road side assistance. Apart from Bangalore, the Renault Selection will commence operation in three other cities soon, which are Jaipur, Nagpur, and Chandigarh.
Talking about the launch of Renault Selection in Bangalore, Mr. Sumit Sawhney, CEO and Managing Director of Renault India has been saying, the automaker is taking an aggressive growth strategy in the country and planning to grab new business opportunities in Indian automotive market. The launch of pre-owned car business is a part of that strategy. In India the pre-owned car market is 3 times larger than the Western Europe, UK and US. In next 5 years the pre-owned car market in the country will become larger even.
