RE Interceptor 650 Gets Scrambler Exhaust From Way2Speed Performance - Video

In the video attached below, you can check out a cool-looking modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 that has a Scrambler-like performance exhaust

Vellore-based motorcycle tuner Way2Speed Performance has launched a Scrambler-type high-set exhaust for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 that not only changes the way the bike looks but also ensures that the user benefits from a distinctive exhaust note.

The 2 into 1 stainless steel high-set custom exhaust system for Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is a plug and play installation that sports a brushed satin finish and is made up from high-grade stainless steel 304.

The lightweight construction of the exhaust system leads to a weight saving of almost 11 kg, which enhances the power-to-weight ratio and the handling characteristics. The custom exhaust for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 comes with 3 levels of heat shields that protect the rider from the heat emanated by the exhaust system.

The custom setup comes with a removable baffle which meets Indian, European and North American noise regulations. Removing the baffle leads to a sporty deep growl. No remapping is required after installing this part.

Other than sporting the custom exhaust system, the modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 shown in the video has a bespoke paint finish with a matte black base paint and orange highlights. The new paint theme, along with the high-set exhaust, gives the Interceptor a totally distinct look.

Powering the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental 650 is an all-new parallel-twin engine that displaces 648cc. It pumps out a maximum power of 47 bhp and a peak torque of 52 Nm. The motor benefits from oil-cooling and fuel injection and comes mated to a six-speed transmission with slipper clutch.

The 650 twins from Royal Enfield have been fairly quick thanks to the performance levels and made a name for themselves in the market already. The availability of these custom parts is sure to enrich the ownership experience.
