Race-Spec TVS NTORQ SXR Revealed; Has Over 120 KMPH Top Speed

The performance upgrades in the TVS NTORQ SXR have resulted in a massive peak power of over 20 bhp – more than 11 bhp compared to standard model

TVS NTORQ SXR is built out of the brand’s over 35 years of racing expertise and it has been created to make a compelling mark in the racing arena for the fourth round of Indian National Rally Championship 2018 in Nashik. The fully race-specific machine has endured several modification on the styling as well as performance front and is obviously based on the recently launched TVS NTORQ 125 scooter.

It comes equipped with a rugged exterior and signature paint scheme of TVS Racing. The Hosur-based company says the NTORQ SXR boasts a “superior performance” and it has been designed to leverage the racing experience with ergonomics that “achieves perfect racing techniques.”

The performance upgrades have resulted in a massive peak power of over 20 bhp – more than 11 bhp when compared to the standard NTORQ 125.

Other significant features of the race-spec TVS NTORQ SXR are 12-inch knobby tyres with race-prepped hydraulic suspension, performance-tuned air intake and the exhaust as well as ignition systems are upgraded. Mr. B Selvaraj, Team Manager, TVS Racing has stated that the just like the TVS SXR 160, the NTORQ SXR will raise the bar and set new benchmarks in the racing scooter class.

The fourth round of INRC (Indian National Rally Championship) is scheduled to be contested in Nashik between May 25 and 26. Triple National Championship winner Asif Ali and Shamim Khan will be riding the new race-bred machine in the Rally.
