Production-Spec Hyundai Venue SUV Rendered Ahead Of World Premiere

Production-Spec Hyundai Venue SUV

Hyundai Venue will go on sale in the middle of May in India to take on Vitara Brezza, Nexon, EcoSport and XUV300

Hyundai will be revealing its smallest SUV dubbed Venue next month at the 2019 New York Auto Show scheduled between April 17 and 29. It will enter showrooms in India by the middle of May with plenty of anticipation. Ahead of its global debut, Hyundai has been teasing the “connected SUV” and some of the exterior details we already know from the spy pictures are confirmed through them. Based on the production prototype, we have rendered the front fascia of the upcoming Venue.

Stretching just under four metres in length, the Hyundai Venue has a robust stance with upright SUV design formula you could find in the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Mahindra XUV300. With that said, it has unique design traits on its own as Hyundai has adopted its latest global styling philosophy.

The front end features now-signature cascading grille with prominent slats while the turn indicators are positioned on top. In the middle, the projector headlamps are present shrouded by LED Daytime Running Lights. The bumper has large central air dam flanked by horizontal fog lamps.

The side profile adorns a similar silhouette as the Creta and in fact it shares plenty of components with the top-selling model. The high-spec variants get dual-tone machine cut alloy wheels and roof rails while the rear comes with horizontally positioned LED tail lamps and perhaps chrome touches on the tail gate.

The Venue will be feature packed right from the base variant and it will be offered in three engine choices. A 1.4-litre petrol and diesel units will be accompanied by a 100 hp and 172 Nm producing 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor.

Both manual and automatic transmissions will be on sale with the top-spec petrol 1.0-litre gaining dual-clutch automatic. The interior will see the use of high-quality materials and a large touchscreen infotainment display will sit on the middle with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity along with voice recognition.
