Porsche officially announced that Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sets track record in 6 different circuits around the world including BIC

Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is setting tracks around the world on fire with blistering times. The German manufacturer recently announced that Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has set track record in 6 different circuits around the world and one of them is our very own Buddh International Circuit.

Porsche used production spec Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and they didn’t make any modifications. The German manufacturer gave the key of Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid to its test and development driver Lars Ken. The hybrid luxury sedan has managed to beat track record of all six FIA-approved race tracks.

The six race tracks are Bahrain International Circuit, Yas Marina Circuit, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, Buddh International Circuit, Dubai Autodrome and Losail International Circuit. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is powered by 4.0 L Bi-Turbo V8 petrol engine with electric motors. The combined output is 680 hp and 770 Nm.

This engine is mated to 8 speed dual clutch automatic transmission and power is sent to all four wheels for superior grip.The performance of Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is mind blowing as the luxury sedan can achieve 0-100 kph in just 3.4 sec and top speed is 308 kph.

The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid completed 5.4 km Bahrain International Circuit in 2 minutes and 18.96 sec. According to Porsche, Yas Marina Circut is one of the most technologically advanced circuits in the world and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid completed 5.5 km circuit in 2 minutes and 31.9 sec.

The 4.26 km Kyalmai Circuit in South Africa is owned by Porsche and the Panamera completed the circuit in 1 minute and 59.80 sec. The hybrid sports sedan completed 5.12 km Buddh International Circuit in 2 minutes and 12.56 seconds, 5.39 km Dubai Autodrome in 2 minutes and 19.15 sec and finally the 5.38 km Losail International Circuit in 2 minutes and 24.12 sec.
