Porsche Macan Turbo performance pack comprises of 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6 developing 440 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque
Porsche India has unveiled a new performance package in the Indian luxury market for the Macan Turbo SUV. The range-topping performance oriented version will be offered at a price of Rs. 1.41 crore (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The all-new Performance Package pays dividends with a 3.6-litre twin turbocharged V6 engine which is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 440 hp and 600 Nm of peak torque between 1,500 and 4,500 rpm.
Compared to the regular Macan Turbo, the performance figures are 40 hp and 50 Nm more. It comes fitted with large 390 mm front discs with six-piston calipers painted in red for taming the extra performance assisted by the tuned up engine. As a result of the new package, the German manufacturer has boasted a standstill to 100 kmph time of 4.4 seconds, four tenths quicker in comparison, while the top speed is rated at 272 kmph – 6 kmph faster than the standard model.

The spurred up motor is coupled with a seven-speed dual clutch PDK transmission with quicker response time. Additionally, the Macan Turbo equipped with Performance Package features a new sport exhaust system, lowered ride height of 15 millimetres, controlled sports chassis with Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, Sport Chrono package, self-levelling active air suspension, newly developed braking system, etc.
Porsche provides different add-ons as it allows buyers to customise the luxury SUV the way they want it to be. The slew of customised equipment optionally offered for the Macan Turbo powered by the Performance Package are LED headlamps equipped with PDLS Plus, 21-inch alloy wheels consisting of 911 Turbo design with spokes finished in high-gloss black, black leather interior with Alcantara touches, several parts adorned in black colour and carbon door entry guards among some other interesting elements.
