Porsche Macans Rendered In Iconic Motorsport Liveries

Porsche Macan rendered in five different colour drawing inspiration from motorsport livery of old cars

Porsche and motorsport are two sides of one coin. The German luxury sportscar brand has a wide range of high performance appealing models in its portfolio. Now, five different rendering of Porsche Macan SUVs have surfaced showing the car in unique motorsport liveries inspired from old sportscars of the brand.

All the five Porsche Macans appear unique looking and all of them were shot at different and historic premise around Singapore. These five models were given this unique appearance by the Martini Racing, Rothmans Design, Pink Pig, Salzburg Design and Gulf Design. The locations where the images were shot are Holland Village, Armenian Street, China Town, Ann Siang Hill and Haji Lane.

Speaking about the cars, the Porsche Macan Martini Racing wears a combination of blue, red and silver. It drew inspiration from the Porsche 917 Le Mans car of 1970. Porsche Macan Rothmans Design is inspired by the Porsche 956 that debuted at 1982 Le Mans and created a new era for the automaker’s racing division. It comes donning a combination of blue, golden and white colours.

Speaking about the Porsche Macan Pink Pig it wears a pink paint scheme. It comes with inspiration from the one-off experimental car that created quite sensation at the 1971 Le Mans. During the pre-race qualification, this was the fastest car. However, the car retired from race due to an accident. This sportscar still draw attention at the Porsche museum and the latest Macan painted in similar colour is a tribute to the original Le Mans race car.

Porsche Macan Salzburg Design wears an attractive red paint scheme. It has been inspired by Porsche 917 KH that was the first model from the brand to secure its first of 19 Le Mans victories. Debuted 47 years ago in 1970, the original car is still an attraction to the Porsche and racecar lovers.

The last one in this list is the Porsche Macan Gulf Design that wears a blue colour focusing on the tracks all around the world. It is inspired by Mirage M1 from 1970 and 1971 Le Mans.
