Pirelli Tyres to be Available at Ceat Stores as both companies announced their partnership for distribution
If you are young motorcyclist who seeks performance for your motorcycle you would know that the tyres you are looking for are from either from the French or the Italian manufacturer such as Pirelli. And to do that you had to search around a lot. We personally have been a part of this story and have witnessed this in the city of Mumbai. We have also heard stories about it in from other cities and how the prices vary of this brand from city to city as it goes higher and higher.
Pirelli is finally doing things right. After being not allowed to sell tyres which don’t have ISI mark on them, It is back in the country and will continue to sell high performance tyres through Ceat at a premium. The Ceat brand also has it its roots from the same country as it is flagship company of the RPG enterprise is based in Italy.
Ceat is known as one of the leading countries The company is headquartered at Annie Besant Road, Worli in Mumbai. It has manufacturing plants in Mumbai, Nashik and Halol near Baroda. Pirelli Ceat partnership will see for just retailing its tyres and both them are going against India’s largest manufacturer Pirelli.
This move also comes as high performance motorcycles are coming into the country and those motorcycles manufacturer use the Italian marquee’s tyres. Ceat has a vast dealership chain which should help Pirelli sell more indeed.
This move should help consumers as well as manufacturer in providing the customer with availability of high performance tyres. The premium bikes in the country is surely pick up steam and is expected to grow up 16% for the next five years according to Ceat and Pirelli. Good and easy days lie ahead of bikers since the last 5 years and this just got better indeed. Let’s wait for prices and model range that is expected to be seen.
