Pininfarina is one of the oldest names in the automotive industry. The designs came out of these Italian brand is truly special. Last Year, Pininfarina announced that the company want to become electric luxury car maker. Since then the Italian brand has already revealed four concepts at various motor show in collaboration with Hybrid Kinetic Group based in Hong Kong.

The first product from this partnership was H600 sedan revealed at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. Then the brand followed up with two new SUV concepts and HK GT model earlier this year. At the upcoming Beijing Motor Show, Pininfarina will reveal H500 Electric Design Concept. The brand released teaser of H500 concept on Twitter which gives us an idea of what to expect from H500.

Pininfarina H500 Sedan Concept InteriorThe teaser shows a fastback bodystyle with a sleek profile. One of the unique design points is these silver fins on the fenders which merge with door sills. The rear doors are bigger than on front which suggest that the company is giving importance for rear passengers and this could be positioned as a luxury fast back. The H500 is finished in a dark golden shade.

The interior of H500 is also futuristic like exterior. The four spoke steering wheel with all digital instrument cluster gives futuristic look for the interior. The infotainment system is also merged with instrument cluster just like on S Class. Below the infotainment screen is also another screen to control various other functions of H500. Like Audi and Volvo, Pininfarina is also moving towards touch screen for everything, but we prefer traditional knob controls as it is easier for the driver to control while driving.

The Italian brand hasn’t given any details about powertrain. The only details revealed is that it could be a range extended EV. The design of H500 looks very close to production and differs from other concepts they have revealed till now. So this might be there first production model. We could get more details when the Italian manufacture unveils H500 at Beijing Motor Show on April 25.
