Hyundai has released a teaser image of the upcoming performance-oriented Tucson SUV. It is the first N-Line performance SUV from the brand

Hyundai has a performance car division that is known as “N”. It is similar to the BMW “M-Sport” and Mercedes-Benz “AMG” divisions. For the first time ever, Hyundai will launch a performance N-Line SUV in the form of Tucson N in the coming weekss. Here is an official teaser image of the upcoming car and it looks hot!

The N-Line Hyundai Tucson is based on the 2019 Hyundai Tucson which is yet to arrive in the Indian market. The 2019 Tucson gets updated headlamps that look much sharper than before. This is the reason the headlamps of the N-Line Tucson are much different from the regular Tucson available in the Indian market.

Even with the 2019 Hyundai Tucson, the N-Line version has tweaked headlamps. The teaser images also reveal the new, much more aggressive alloy wheels on the Tucson N-Line. The teaser images show very less but there are other Hyundai N models that indicate that the Tucson may also get an aggressive body kit with new bumpers and side skirts.

But as this will be the first N-Line SUV from the brand, making predictions can be difficult. However, features like a faux diffuser, twin-exhaust pipes and a tailgate mounted spoiler can be expected to be on the SUV. On the inside, the N-Line Tucson will get many updates but the teaser image only shows the N-Line badging on the gearshifter with red highlights.

Similar contrasting red stitches can be expected all over the vehicle including the seats and the dashboard of the vehicle too. Hyundai will unevil the model at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show that is scheduled to take place on the first week of March. The engine details are not known yet but Hyundai might offer the mild-hybrid system the 2.0-litre diesel engine in the car. It may get a 48-volt battery too.

The car will be able to do 0-100 km/h injust under 6 seconds, which is very fast for an SUV. Apart from the more powerful engine, Hyundai may offer a re-tuned suspension for a stiffer and sportier ride on the SUV. The 2019 Tucson is likely to come to India by the end of this year but the N-Line Tucson is not expected here.
