Mahindra has managed to sell 1692 units of Marazzo last month; the MPV can be had in both seven- and eight-seat options

Mahindra sold 1692 units of Marazzo in April 2019 compared to 2751 units in March 2019, as MoM sales declined by 38 per cent. The Marazzo is selling well as the company has been averaging around 2700 units per month. Mahindra officially launched the Marazzo in September 2018 and the MPV is available in four variants.

The Marazzo is the first product designed and developed at the North American Technical Centre of Mahindra. The MPV is based on a new platform and the company has focused a lots on refinement. The Marazzo has the quietest cabin in its class as the in-cabin sound level is just 43 decibels.

The design theme of Marazzo is inspired by Sharks as the front gets new grille along with big projector headlamps and a new bumper with LED day time running lamps integrated into the fog lamps cluster. The side design is simple and the company has given machine cut alloy wheels for the Marazzo.

The rear-view mirrors are placed on the door instead of A-pillar as it improved aerodynamic efficiency. The rear gets LED tail lamps and a new bumper. The interior design is completely new and the Marazzo come with aircraft inspired AC vents for the second and third row. The steering wheel is a new three-spoke unit and the instrument cluster is also new.

The Marazzo is loaded with lots of features like touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, reverse camera with parking sensors and dynamic guidelines, electronically controlled exterior mirrors, emergency call feature, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts and more.

Mahindra is currently offering the Marazzo with a single engine option and the 1.5 L diesel engine produces 123 PS of power and 302 Nm of torque. This engine returns 17.6 kmpl and the company has used crank off-set technology to cut down vibration along with advanced dual mass flywheel to reduce engine rattle.
