Ola Partners BMW India to Offer Luxury Car Ride

Ola partners BMW as the Lux service can be booked at a minimum fare of Rs. 250 and Rs. 22 per km charge

Ola partners with German luxury car brand BMW in India to offer the luxury car ride. Christened as Ola Lux the service is offered in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, while it will be introduced in Hyderabad soon as well. Both the companies believe this partnership will bring significant change in the highly popular shared mobility market.

In this partnership with Ola, BMW India will offer its products with easy financing and after sales support as well, and it will also offer exciting buy back options. Apart from this, BMW India will offer a driver training scheme as well, through which the German automaker’s instructors will train drivers about capabilities, functions safety systems and features of BMW cars in detail.

According to the agreement between the app-based cab service provider and the automaker, BMW 3-Series sedan will be available to operators, while at later stage other models will be available as well. The Ola Lux service will be available at a minimum base fare of Rs. 250, and Rs 20 – Rs. 22 will be charged for per kilometer after that.

BMW Financial Services India will offer 100% financing with attractive interest rate for up to 4 years to the operators. The agreement also provides unique after sales service covering all cost of inspection, maintenance, and repairing suing genuine BMW spare parts by certified technicians.

Ola is one of the rapidly growing shared mobility service providers in India alongside Uber. The company has already partnered with luxury car manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, Jaguar. Ola presently has its premium offering in two different segments which are Ola Prime and Ola corporate, which contributes around 1% to its total revenue. Also it has tied up with other automakers like Tata Motors, Mahindra etc.
