The new generation Honda CR-V will launch next month, here are all the specifications and mileage figures of the new model have been revealed officially
Honda Cars India is close to launching the fifth generation of the CR-V in India. The new generation Honda CR-V will offer both petrol and diesel engine options along with a total of seven seats. Ahead of its launch, the company has revealed the official specifications of the new SUV.
The new generation Honda CR-V will launch in two variants – 1.6-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol. The diesel engine produces a maximum power of 120 PS @ 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm @ 2,000 rpm. It will go on sale in both 2wd and AWD variants. The engine will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It will have an ARAI-certified mileage of 19.5 kmpl for the diesel and 18.3 kmpl for the petrol variant.
Powering the petrol variant will be a 2.0-litre motor that outputs a maximum power of 154 PS @ 4,300 rpm and a peak torque of 189 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. It comes paired with a CVT. The petrol engine variant is available with 2wd configuration only. This version has a mileage of 14.4 kmpl.
The new generation Honda CR-V offers an optional third row of seats on the diesel variant. The new model is more spacious than its previous versions due to the larger dimensions. It measures 4,592 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and 1,689 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,669 mm and a ground clearance of 208 mm for the AWD version and 198 mm for the 2wd model.
The features list of the new generation Honda CR-V includes electric driver’s seat, lane watch, cruise control, dual front airbags, side airbags, multi-view rear parking camera, panoramic sunroof, 7-inch digital speedo console, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and electric parking brake.
