Next generation Volkswagen Jetta incorporates a coupe like styling; gets loads of modern features and tech

Volkswagen Jetta is one of the most stylish and appealing looking sedan from the German car giant and this sedan has earned pretty good response around the world. Now, the automaker is gearing up to unveil the next generation model at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next year and before that, Volkswagen has revealed couple of details about the car.

As it appears, the new VW Jetta will come more appealing and premium in terms of design and features as well. Volkswagen has revealed that the next generation Jetta will get an “emotional” design with coupe like styling elements. To be precise, Volkswagen reveals that it has given the new model a North American touch, after collecting data from the customers on what they want from the Jetta.

Not only styling, but in terms of features and technology as well, next generation Volkswagen Jetta is expected to become much more appealing. It gets several advanced driver assisting tech and premium features to offer greater experience and improved comfort to the occupants.

Interestingly, next generation Volkswagen Jetta will come with R-Line. Also, it will get a manual transmission art launch and there will be a GLI variant on offer, but that will be introduced at a later stage. Expect the next-gen VW Jetta to receive electrified powertrain technology as well. However, that’s yet to be disclosed by the automaker.

Considering the fact that Volkswagen is eyeing to grow in Indian market in coming years and the demand for premium cars increasing in the country, we can expect the auto major to roll out next generation Jetta here as well. If it does, then we can hope the new Jetta to come here by 2020. In the meantime, Volkswagen has also confirmed that it is preparing to introduce a new compact SUV in the domestic market that will challenge the Hyundai Creta.
