New Maruti Dzire finished June sales chart in third position and is expected to gain top spot in the coming months

The recently launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been received well in the Indian market as evident from the sales figures of its presence in its first full month. Carrying on the legacy of its highly successful predecessor, the new generation subcompact sedan has wrapped a total of 12,049 units in June 2017. It was at a 23 percent deficit compared to the same month last year when Maruti retailed 15,560 examples.

The new Dzire ended up third in last month’s bestselling chart and had registered over 2,800 units less sales than the leading Alto. Considering that it is only the first whole month of sales for the sedan, don’t be surprised if it can top out the sales chart in the coming months as it surely has the potential and the overwhelming bookings are just a sign of that we reckon.
