New Jaguar XF Launched in India Starting from Rs. 49.5 Lakh

New Jaguar XF is the first model in India to get the Ingenium 2.0-litre diesel engine; design cues inspired from F-Type

Jaguar has launched the all-new XF luxury sedan starting from Rs. 49.5 lakh for the basic Diesel Pure variant and it goes all the up to Rs. 61.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-of-the-line Petrol Portfolio version. Described as an “utterly seductive combination of design, performance and technology”, the second generation XF demonstrates F-Type inspired design cues.

The first Indian-spec Jaguar to get the Ingenium 2.0-litre diesel engine is built on a light-weight aluminum architecture which contributed towards a weight trimming of up to 190 kilograms over the outgoing model. The deliveries are scheduled to begin from September end.

Brought into the country as completely built units, bookings for the all-new Jaguar XF are now open at all 23 authorised outlets across India and can be done via www.findmeacar.in online platform. The new XF has improved aerodynamics, visibility, stability and safety and is made available with adaptive LED headlights featuring the signature blade Daytime Running Lights.

At the rear, the XF comprises distinctive, Jaguar F-TYPE inspired, double roundel and intersecting horizontal detail on the tail lamps with less energy using LED brake lights. To reduce drag and increase downforce, the sedan has sweeping exterior design. The rear of Jaguar XF’s cabin is spacious when compared to the previous generation XF with knee-room increased by 24 mm. Rear leg-room jumped up by 15 mm with ten colour choices for the configurable mood lighting.

It is offered with the new Ingenium 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine delivering a power output of 179 hp. The new breed of engines is 20 kg lighter with all-aluminium construction are said to provide effortless performance, refinement and efficiency. On the other hand, the four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine offers 237 hp of maximum power.

It features InControl Touch on the Pure and Prestige derivatives and InControl Touch Pro on the Portfolio derivative, Meridian 380 W Sound Systems with 11 speakers on Prestige and digital 825 W Surround Sound System with 17 speakers on Portfolio, All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) technology, etc. Here’s the price listing for the new Jaguar XF:
