The new Hyundai Santro will launch in a price range of Rs 3.87 lakh to Rs 5.35 lakh, It will offer touchscreen infotainment unit & more
The new Hyundai Santro will launch in 5 variants – D-Lite, Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta and it will be available with two transmission and two fuel options, namely, 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT, and Petrol and CNG, respectively. Prices of the new Hyundai Santro will start at Rs 3.87 lakh and go all the way to Rs 5.35 lakh. The CNG variant and the AMT will be available only in the Magna and Sportz trims. However, the Automated Manual Transmission will be available on the petrol version only.
The new Hyundai Santro is powered by an updated version of the 1.1-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that powered the previous i10. Underpinning the tallboy is a revised version of the Grand i10’s platform.
The new Hyundai Santro will launch in both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol version will output 69 PS and 99 Nm. The CNG version will offer 59 PS and 84 Nm. The claimed fuel efficiency figure is rated at 20.3 kmpl for both manual and AMT variants.

The features list on the top-end model of the new Hyundai Santro includes rear AC vents, touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a multi-function steering wheel. However, alloy wheels won’t be offered.
The new Hyundai Santro will compete with the Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Celerio, Renault Kwid 1.0, and Tata Tiago. It should be noted here that all these cars have an optional AMT, which means the new Santro is prepared to compete with the above cars on all counts.
