Hyundai officially revealed new Santro yesterday ahead of its launch on October 23rd. The Santro will be available in a total of 9 variants and the company is offering CNG and AMT options only on middle variants. The company has opened pre-bookings for Santro from today onwards and the booking amount is Rs. 11,000.
Hyundai is also running two special offers for online bookings as Rs. 1000 cash back for using HDFC Bank Credit/Debit Cards and booking through SBI YONO App will give you a chance to win a Hyundai Car. The hatchback is available in 7 colour options – Star Dust, Marina Blue, Fiery Red, Polar White, Imperial Beige, Typhoon Silver and Diana Green.

The Santro is based on the revised HA platform of previous generation i10, but the company has made lots of change to make it safer as the model needs to pass the latest crash tests, which will be implemented from next year onwards. To further improve stiffness, the body is made of 63 per cent high strength steel.
The tall boy design theme of old Santro has been retained on the new model as the design is modern and appeals to mass market buyers. The front signature grille of Hyundai along with swept-back headlamps and big fog lamps gives a wide car feel for the Santro. The side design is simple with 14-inch wheels.
The interior gets dual tone colour in which dashboard is finished in black colour. Hyundai has also focused on comfort as the rear bench seat is designed to accommodate three people in comfort. The front seats get integrated headrest and the quality of materials is really good. The Santro also comes with low NVH levels.
Hyundai has packed Santro with lots of features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted audio controls, rear AC vents and more. The Santro is powered by a new 1.1 L petrol engine producing 69 PS and 99 Nm, mated to 5-speed manual and new AMT gearbox. The top speed of Santro is 156 kph and the claimed mileage is 20.3 kmpl.
