2018 Honda CR-V will be introduced in India with seven-seat layout; to be powered by a new 1.6-litre diesel engine producing 158 hp and 350 Nm torque

Honda entered the fifth gen CR-V for North America in 2017 and it is confirmed to arrive on Indian shores in the 2018-19 financial year. It will have a seven seater layout rather than just the traditional five-seat configuration. It is one of the bestselling vehicles for the brand in global automotive arena.

The Japanese brand is expected to make its presence felt big in the premium segments and the CR-V would be a handy inclusion along with a new generation Civic. Honda is taking the CR-V serious this time around considering the escalated popularity of SUVs and crossovers lately as new mechanicals will also be there.

2018-Honda-CR-V-Front.jpgThe CR-V is currently sold in over 160 countries worldwide and about 9.4 million vehicles are sold cumulatively. Here is all that you need to know about the CR-V that has just been unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.

It features large chrome grille and is aerodynamically more efficient thanks to the auto-shutting grille. The new CR-V is expected to make a major statement against its rivals in the competitive Indian market with a stylish and upmarket presence.
