The impressive sales of Amaze has helped Honda to post 37.5 percent growth in June, 2018 compared to same month last year as the company sold 17,602 units

Honda Cars India had talked a lot about the importance of second generation Amaze before launch and it is a crucial model for the Japanese manufacturer in India as they look to bounce back from old-gen model’s average sales in 2017. The new Amaze got a great start in May with the company selling 9789 units and the new model is continuing its momentum last month also.

The Japanese manufacturer sold 9103 units of Amaze in June and consecutive sales of over 9000 units for the second straight month. The impressive sales of Amaze has helped Honda to post 37.5 percent growth in June, 2018 compared to same month last year as the company sold 17,602 units and exports stood at just 486 units as the Japanese manufacturer had to give priority for domestic market.

2018 Honda Amaze Accessories Officially Revealed_Earlier, City was the bread and butter model for Honda but the C-segment king is struggling as new competitors has moved the game forward with the likes of Hyundai Verna and Toyota Yaris. But Amaze is delivering for Honda and the company announced that second generation Amaze received more than 26,000 bookings since launch.

Honda is expecting the sales momentum to continue as the early arrival of monsoon should help rural wealth and spending. One of the reasons for strong sales of Amaze is the introduction of new CVT gearbox on diesel model as it is one of the most advanced gearboxes available on compact sedan. Honda has also priced Amaze competitively against its main rival Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

Honda will soon launch new generation CR-V and the much awaited Civic by the end of this year, which will certainly help the Japanese manufacturer to finish this year on a high note.
