New-gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is expected to be launched soon locally and it will have a lot in common with the existing Classic 350
Royal Enfield has endured tremendous success with the latest line of launches such as the Hunter 350 and Classic 350. Both motorcycles are heading the sales charts and the Hunter 350 is one of the most affordable offerings from the brand. RE is developing a range of new motorcycles across different price brackets and engine cubic capacities.
These models will be launched in the near future as Royal Enfield’s product portfolio will be expanded in the domestic as well as international markets. Earlier this year, the Chennai-based manufacturer introduced the Super Meteor 650 cruiser and it will give rise to a number of flagship offerings in different body types.
But before that, Royal Enfield is expected to launch the all-new generation of the Bullet 350 in India. The motorcycle is known for its simplistic nature and affordability and we do believe both these aspects will be retained in the upcoming model. Moreover, the Bullet 350 is the only model powered by the old 350 cc engine.
Thus, we expect it to be back in its new avatar drawing plenty of inputs from the Classic 350 including the platform and engine. It will be underpinned by the twin cradle chassis and the 349 cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled SOHC FI engine will be utilised. It develops a maximum power output of 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque.
The powertrain will be linked with a five-speed transmission. The 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will likely retain its status as the most affordable RE offering, although only few thousands cheaper than the Hunter 350. It will feature front and rear disc brakes assisted by a single-channel ABS system.
The new-gen Bullet 350 will continue to have the vintage styling with a circular halogen headlamp, round-shaped tail lamp and turn indicators. It will be suspended on telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear shock absorbers. It will also be equipped with wire-spoked wheels with tubed tyres, a relaxed handlebar, middle-set footpegs, etc. In addition, a whole range of accessories will be made available by RE.
