Audi India has today announced the launch of the new generation Q3 in the domestic market and is priced at Rs. 44.89 lakh for the Premium Plus variant and it goes all the way up to Rs. 50.39 lakh for the range-topping Technology trim (both prices, ex-showroom). The Ingolstadt-based manufacturer is offering a standard warranty of five years.

Moreover, the first 500 bookings will get a three-year or 50,000 km service package as well. The India-spec 2022 Audi Q3 comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing a maximum power output of 190 hp and 320 Nm of peak torque and is linked only with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Globally though, the luxury crossover can be had with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre turbo petrol in two states of tune. As standard, it features matrix LED headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights, LED taillights, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected tech, and a new three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifting function.

The Quattro all-wheel-drive system and a panoramic sunroof are also standard in the new Q3. The Premium Plus trim is equipped with 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, six airbags, a six-speaker audio system, cruise control with speed limited, TPMS, auto IRVM, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, HSA, start/stop system with regen braking, leather seat upholstery, etc.

The exterior takes plenty of design inspiration from the larger Q8 sibling. The top-spec Technology trim gains MMI Navigation Plus, a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit display, an ambient lighting system, a 10-speaker audio system, a wireless charging facility, a gesture-controlled tailgate and so on. It competes against Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1 and Volvo XC40.

The German luxury carmaker will showcase the new Q3 in Hyderabad as part of its roadshow across India. It will be displayed on September 1 and 2 at the Audi Hyderabad dealership and at the Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad, on September 3 and 4. The deliveries of the 2022 Audi Q3 will commence in the coming weeks in India and the SUV is expected to garner high volumes for the brand.
