The changes on Ertiga Black Edition is limited to just black finish for the interior

Suzuki officially launched a new limited edition model of Ertiga called Black Edition in the Philippines and the changes are limited to aesthetics only. The second generation Ertiga was introduced in the Philippines market in January and the company is offering the MPV in three grades – GA, GL and GLX.

The special edition model has a black finish for the interior compared to the beige colour of the regular model and it retains the wood finish on the dashboard, steering wheel and door pad along with beige colour on the pillar. Apart from this, the company hasn’t made any changes compared to regular Ertiga.

Suzuki is currently offering the Black Edition in entry-level GA and top-spec GLX models. The entry-level variant is loaded with lots of features like start-stop button, keyless entry, single-din audio system with USB, four-door power windows, fuel lid opener, remote tailgate opener, manual AC and steel wheels.

The MPV comes with standard safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX. The top-spec GLA is loaded with 15-inch alloy wheels, 10-inch touch screen infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, reverse camera with parking sensors, rear AC vents, electronically controlled exterior mirrors and more.

Suzuki is currently offering the Ertiga with a single engine option in the Philippines as it is powered by the newly developed 1.5 L petrol engine with 103 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The entry-level GA model gets 5-speed manual gearbox while the top-spec GLX comes with 4-speed automatic gearbox.

The Japanese manufacturer is planning to introduce GT variant of Ertiga in Indonesia soon and it comes with lots of exterior changes like a new grille, sporty bumper, black finish for the alloy wheels and we are expecting the company to make some changes for the interior also. The suspension is likely to be tuned for sporty driving.
