Earlier this year, Toyota hinted on launching the all-new Rush in the Indian market after announcing the plan to shelve the arrival of all-new Corolla

Last month Toyota postponed the launch of the all-new Corolla Altis in the Indian market due to the growing popularity of the SUVs and crossovers. Instead, Toyota hinted that they may bring in an all-new Compact MPV and a crossover to the Indian market.

By all means, the compact MUV has been speculated to be the new Rush, which is already launched in many International markets. In India, the launch of the all-new Rush is not expected to happen anytime soon but a trailer full of brand new uncamouflaged Toyota Rush is spotted on the Indian roads.

Does it mean that Toyota is very near to launch the all-new vehicle in the market? Well, sadly that is not happening. The truck was spotted carrying a few units of Toyota Rush MPV was seen somewhere in West Bengal. There is even a video of the trailer showing all the Rush MPV neatly tucked on the trailer. However, since West Bengal is a border town and shares the border with Nepal and Bhutan.

It is likely that the vehicle seen on the truck was going to either Nepal or Bhutan. Since all the cars sold in Nepal and Bhutan are fully imported, the vehicles are transported to these countries through the Indian borders due to relaxed trade treaties between the countries.

However, Toyota Rush is still expected to be launched in the Indian market, but Toyota has not yet officially confirmed the launch of the all-new MPV in the domestic market. Since Toyota and Maruti Suzuki have joined hands in India and they have officially announced to share the Ertiga in the future, Toyota may not bring the Rush at all since it belongs from the same segment as the Ertiga.

Toyota will soon launch the first product as the rebadged Baleno as Glanza from the newly formed alliance with Maruti Suzuki in the market. Later, rebadged Ciaz and Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki.
