Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the best selling compact SUV in its segment but the competition is going to heat up in coming months as Mahindra has already launched the XUV 300 earlier this week. The company is offering good discounts for the Vitara Brezza this month to continue the positive sales momentum moving forward.
The Vitara Brezza comes with a total discount of up to Rs. 45,000 which includes Rs. 15,000 cash discount, Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus and corporate discount of Rs. 5,000. This offer is available across the country and the Vitara Brezza now starts at Rs. 7.86 lakh for the entry-level model. Maruti Suzuki is offering the compact SUV in four variants – LDi, VDi, ZDi and ZDi+.
Maruti Suzuki sold 13,172 units of Vitara Brezza last month and registered 12 per cent Year-On-Year growth as the company sold 11,785 units same month last year. The Month-On-Month growth in January is 36 per cent. One of the reasons for the huge popularity of Vitara Brezza is its traditional SUV styling theme.
The top end model of Vitara Brezza comes with lots of features like touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, electronically controlled exterior mirrors, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, 16-inch black finished alloy wheels, rear camera with parking sensors, cooled glove box and more.
The company is also focusing on safety as the compact SUV gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, driver seat belt, parking sensors, ISOFIX child mounts and high-speed alert system as standard across variants. Maruti is offering the Vitara Brezza only with a diesel engine and it is the 1.3 L engine sourced from FCA.
The diesel engine produces 89 bhp of power at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The power is sent to front wheels via 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT gearbox. According to ARAI, the Vitara Brezza returns 24.3 Kmpl and the company is offering the compact SUV in optional dual tone colour options also.
