
The new MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR limited edition has been unveiled in celebration of Pirelli becoming the official tyre supplier for all MV models
The exotic Italian bike maker MV Agusta has just revealed the special edition of its Brutale 800 RR. Pirelli has recently partnered with MV Agusta as its official tyre supplier for all MV motorcycles. To celebrate this occasion, MV Agusta has just took the wraps off its Brutale 800 RR Pirelli limited edition.
The limited edition model is all about cosmetic updates over the standard model. The bike receives two dual tone paint schemes of matte black-gloss red and blue-grey. The bike also comes with special tyres with coloured sidewall that matches the colour of the motorcycle.
The new MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli limited edition further comes equipped with special seats on which one can see the coloured stitching offering a premium look. The headlamp and the subframe at the rear end of this motorcycle have been drenched in black. The lightweight wheels are also a welcome addition to the new Brutale 800 RR Pirelli edition. Also, the rear tyre is now wider at 200/55-ZR17 in comparison to its previous size of 180/55-ZR17.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli edition gets its power from the same 798cc, three cylinder engine that runs the standard model. The fuel injected mill comes mated to a six-speed transmission system and is good for churning out a maximum power output of 109 bhp along with a peak torque of 83 Nm.
The braking to the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli edition is done by twin 320mm disc brakes up front along with a single 220mm disc brake at the rear. A Bosch 9 MP ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with RLP (Rear wheel lift up mitigation) comes standard. The suspension system of this motorcycle comprises of Marzocchi upside down forks at the front along with a progressive Sachs mono shock absorber at the rear.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli edition has overall body dimensions of 2045mm x 875mm x 1100mm (LxWxH). The bike has wheelbase and ground clearance of 1400mm and 135mm respectively. The motorcycle has a dry weight of 175 kgs and has been assisted with a 16.5 litre fuel tank.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli limited edition will be showcased at 2017 EICMA.
