BMW is finally coming to India as it is all set to launch their entire line up to India. However, it was already doing that with the help of dealership and exporters. What made news is their new upcoming motorcycle that was developed with the help of TVS motors. The BMW G310R is naked single-cylinder motorcycle which is making news at the Auto Expo 2016 here in India. The motorcycles makes its Indian debut for the first time and it did first at the biggest motorcycle show at Milan.
The BMW G310R is all new motorcycle from grounds up and engineered and conceptualized at Munich headquarters of BMW. The motorcycle was made in India at the TVS factory. Reason was simple to choose TVS for BMW because TVS has the tightest quality control in motorcycle making in India. TVS has a reputation of engineering motorcycles to the limit and making high on quality, durability and reliability.
This new BMW G310R which stands in front of us at the Auto Expo stall is surely a very high quality motorcycle when it comes finish and fitting of panels. BMW motorcycles are known for the same and despite Indian engineering there are no signs of anything wrong. Most Indian motorcycles manufacturer have been making high quality motorcycle, its this time this idea takes the attention.
BMW G310R has a 180 degree engine which has the exhaust coming out from behind than what it usually is and the exhaust exits like how it does in the KTM. This keep center of gravity low. The engine makes 35 PS and 28 Nm of torque and has 110 section front tyre and 150 section tyre at the rear. Michelin rubber has been used.
