Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, who is an avid biker, has been gifted the first-ever 2019 TVS Apache RR310

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has just become the first-ever owner of the 2019 TVS Apache RR310. With this, the former captain of the Indian cricket team has added another bike to his ever-expanding motorcycle collection, which even includes the mighty Kawasaki Ninja H2.

The 2019 TVS Apache RR310 has got a slew of updates, which make it an even more formidable offering. The biggest upgrade that the 2019 model carries is a slipper clutch, the addition of which has led to a price increase of Rs 3,000. The flagship TVS offering now costs Rs 2.27 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Even the owners of the 2018 model can get the slipper clutch retrofitted to their motorcycles.

Speaking on the addition of the 2019 TVS Apache RR310 to his garage, MS Dhoni has said, “I have been associated with TVS Motor Company for over 12 years and my relationship with the company has only strengthened with each passing year. Being an avid bike enthusiast, I am excited to get the new TVS Apache RR 310 Slipper Clutch variant as it combines a stunning design with exhilarating performance. It is also a feeling of immense pride for me to own a super-premium bike from an Indian manufacturer. I wish the team all the very best for their future endeavours and look forward to hitting the road with my new motorcycle.

The other two paint schemes, which include the Racing Red and the Matte Black options, have been carried over from the previous version. Apart from these two updates, the motorcycle remains totally unchanged.

As with the earlier motorcycle, powering the 2019 TVS Apache RR310 is a 313cc, single cylinder four-stroke engine that benefits from liquid cooling and fuel injection. The motor produces a maximum power of 34 bhp and a peak torque of 28 Nm.
