Mopar reveals Jeep Compass accessories with visual enhancements, interior add-ons, adventure and utility purposes in mind
The new Jeep Compass SUV has made its way into the European markets and hot on the heels, Mopar has introduced more than 70 exclusive accessories. They add up to the enhancement in exterior of the Compass with 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels, door sill guard with the brand’s logo, double patch black bonnet decal and so on.
On the options list, there are various features like leather gear knob. Sporty pedals for both manual and automatic variants, roof rails, unique bumper inserts, organizer behind the front seat, working table fitted to the head restraints and tablet holder among several others.

As Mopar is the official service wing and performance parts supplier of FCA, these items were designed, tested and produced by the brand itself for customers. FCA says the buyers who want to make the most of their leisure time with outdoor activities can order boxes to be mounted on roof racks, ski racks, kayak and surfboard as well as bicycle.
As for the technology, Mopar has given the Jeep Skills app available to the 8.4-inch touchscreen UConnect Nav Live infotainment system. It allows for real time data on the driving parameters, besides sharing the badges won with other drivers within the Jeep fraternity.

The major parameters the app can provide information about are speed, acceleration, braking, wheel force, G force, etc. The compact SUV’s performance will be calculated real time and showed to the driver as information like zero to 50 kmph, zero to 100 kmph acceleration time, speed and braking distance. Other exclusive features include My Itineraries and Favourite in the Routes menu.
FCA has already started rolling out the Compass from the brand’s Ranjangaon plant for the Indian market. It will act as a production hub for right-hand-drive Compass models exported to many countries worldwide. Mopar will likely be available right from the Compass’ commercial entry in August but only as an aftersales and support provider initially.
