Yamaha RX series was so popular in India thanks to its excellent performance and nimble nature. But most of these bikes are not in good conditions and some of the enthusiasts are giving a new life for old bikes like RX 100, RX 135 to name few. Iron Soul Machines is a customization group based in Punjab and they are famous for their out of box modifications.

On of the projects of Iron Soul Machines is to restore and modify an old Yamaha RX 135. During initial planning of the project, they come with lots of designs and finally decided to go with café racer theme for RX 135. Apart from exterior modifications, some of the mechanical parts also need an update as they were not in good condition.

The café racer theme RX 135 is named as Pardus, which means Leopard in Greek and like the name, this modified RX 135 appears fast thanks to its light weight design along with upgraded mechanical parts. The custom shop has removed all unnecessary parts and body parts are minimal.

The frame and suspension are painted in orange colour, while the body panels are finished in black colour to give KTM design theme for RX 135. The front gets new circular LED headlamps along with new beefier telescopic front suspension and a small front fender. They have given spoke wheels finished in black colour to continue the retro theme.

The stock fuel tank has been replaced with a new custom made unit, which gives a muscular look for RX 135. They have also given clip on handle bars with a single pod instrument cluster and it has speedometer and odometer in it. Iron Soul Machines has given single seat for this custom bike and a small LED tail lamp.

The rear suspension is taken from stock bike, but front wheel is smaller compared to rear and they run on CEAT tyres. The engines get a new external air-filter along with an aftermarket performance exhaust with expansion chamber. This has increased power output and performance has certainly gone up. The custom shop hasn’t given details about price and time they took to complete this modification.
