PMS Motorcycles based in Vadodara, Gujarat took a Royal Enfield Standard 350 and completely transformed it into a bobber
Bobber series is popular among customers thanks to its design. Earlier it was built only by customization groups but due to its popularity manufacturers are also building bobber series bikes, which looks so good and attract people everywhere it goes. We have already seen so many modified bikes with bobber design.
The latest modified bike is built by PMS Motorcycles based in Vadodara, Gujarat and it is named as Torpedo. They took Royal Enfield Standard 350 as donor bike and made lots of changes. The swingarm is completely new and they increased wheelbase by 5 inch compared to standard Standard 350.
The PMS Motorcycles has given telescopic front suspension with custom fenders and alloy wheels are aftermarket with new thick side wall tyres for good performance on-road and off-road. They replaced stock handle bar with a new custom made one and it doesn’t come with speedometer to continue the minimalistic look.
The handle bar is placed higher on the bike along with forward set foot pegs to give a relaxed riding position. The fuel tank is custom made for Torpedo and it comes with leather seat with customs stitching to make it unique. At the rear, PMS Motorcycles has given a new fender but Torpedo misses out on LED tail lamps and number plate.
The bike is finished in red colour with custom pin-stripping and pearl blue touches around the body to make the custom bike looks even more special and mechanical parts are finished in black colour. The rear suspension has been carried over from stock bike along with drum bakes at front and rear.
The engine remains stock as 346 cc single cylinder engine puts out 19.8 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to 5 speed gearbox and they have given custom exhaust, which is tuned for sporty note. The custom shop hasn’t given details about price, but this is one of the best bobber mod available for RE in India.
