This Modified Mahindra Scorpio Into A Soft Top Pickup Truck Looks Fascinating

Most of the changes on the modified Mahindra Scorpio pickup is focused towards the rear as it comes with soft top and new tail lamps

Mahindra Scorpio is always known for its muscular looks and the design has made the SUV so popular across the country. The company also offers pick-up variant, which is christened as Getaway, but they are not offering the latest generation model in India even though it is exported from India to global markets.

The second generation model launched in international markets comes with lots of changes like the new design and plush interior along with better mechanical components. The sales of Gateway is low in India and the company might not introduce the model in India as they are already working on new generation Scorpio.

Bimbra 4×4 is a customisation shop based in Gurgaon, which focuses on SUVs and other off-road vehicles. The latest project from Bumbra 4×4 is the pickup version of new generation Scorpio with Soft Top and the changes goes well with the overall design theme. Most of the parts have been carried over from the stock model.

The front design is exactly similar to the current Scorpio and even the front and the changes begin from the second door onwards as they have removed the roof and instead given a soft top, which can be opened or closed depending on weather conditions. The side and rear body panels have the same design as a regular model.

The stock tail lamps at the rear have been replaced by simple rectangular tail lamps with indicator, stop lamp and reverse lamp. The Scorpio pickup is finished in green colour and to improve structural rigidity the custom shop has given a roll cage attached to the exterior, which will increase weight.

The custom shop has taken the top-spec Scorpio and the interior come with features like touch screen infotainment system, climate control, steering mounted controls, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and more. They have kept the second row AC vents, which is a decision considering our climate and the total cost of modification is not yet revealed.
