Mercedes-Benz continues its rapid growth momentum in Indian market; sold 11,869 units in first 9 months of 2017
Mercedes-Benz is certainly the leader in the luxury car segment of Indian market. The German luxury car brand has been flooding the domestic market with wide range of products and it has sold 11,869 units in first 9 months of 2017. No wonder, introducing a wide range of products in the country has paid off for the auto major.
Inspired by this success, Mercedes-Benz aims to continue its winning momentum in Indian market in future as well. The latest additions to the brand’s domestic portfolio are the facelifted Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 that have been launched with several cosmetic upgrades compared to their respective pre-facelift versions. Both these cars come retaining their old engines.

Mercedes acknowledges that the growing demands for luxury cars and performance focused models have increased significantly in India and that helped the brand to grow faster. It also expects that the demands for luxury cars will increase in near future as well and new age customers will significantly contribute in the growth strategy of the brand.
Speaking about the new launches, the CLA 45 AMG comes priced at Rs. 75.20 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India) and the CLA 45 Aero Edition is available at a price tag of Rs. 77.69 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The Aero Edition model comes offering the customers a chance of wide range of modifications according to their own preference.

Now, the brand is preparing to introduce several new models in the country market in coming months. One of them is going to be the 2018 Mercedes-Benz A Class. Test mules of the car have been already spotted couple of times and the model is expected to hit the market sometime next year. It will arrive incorporating several new technologies, a lightweight platform and improved mechanicals as well that will help improving performance compared to its predecessor.
