Mercedes-Benz GLA Infotainment system has received some updates along with its interior in the US market for the 2016 model, India could be next
Mercedes-Benz India had one great 2015 after it launched all its almost all new products in the country and it is all set to do similar things in the year 2016 as worldwide it has been pumping products one after the other. However, it could do with minor updates as well to some of its products as well.
According to the company, the upgrades center on the Infotainment system of the compact SUV in the USA market. The same kind of upgrade we saw happened with the E-Class in India couple of months back. One of the key changes in the GLA’s interior lie in its display. The former 5.8-inch unit has been replaced with a 7-inch display.
The new 7-inch display could come with the addition of a new media interface, better quality of HD Voice for compatible devices, and a new Garmin Map Pilot navigation system. Mercedes Benz could also offer several options for customers that will surely give more value to the customers.
Other features included in this package could be Keyless Start, Keyless-Go, dual-zone climate control. Ambient Lighting offered in the Interior Package could come as well along with custom trims and wheels that come with the Night Package. Performance upgrades can be seen too as we could see Dynamic Select or Agility Select and the former one now will include four driving modes such as Comfort, Eco, Sport and Sport+ modes.
Everything else is set to remain the same since the Indian GLA already has rear view parking camera. Exterior will remain indentical and we could see all the options above being offered on the top-end variant here in India. GLA in India had some features missing and it seems this was the case in other markets as well. Just like the E-Class update lat year we could see the GLA getting these features soon. GLA has been great success after the A-Class for the brand we believe, since these features are omitted they can actually make to our shores as well
