Mercedes-Benz A and B-Class Night Editions come with visual upgrades and new features; no mechanical changes have been made
Mercedes-Benz has launched the A-Class and B-Class Night Editions in the domestic market. The A-Class Night Edition is priced from Rs. 27.31 lakh while the B-Class Night Edition is available from Rs. 29.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). Both the luxury hatchbacks come with several visual and feature upgrades at exterior and inside the cabin as well.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Night Edition sports visual upgrades like a diamond radiator grille, high-gloss trims applied on both the front and rear bumper along with chrome tipped exhaust. Apart from that, it also features Black ORVM, shiny 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels and glossy beltline trim. Added to these updates, the car gets a Night Edition badge that makes it distinctive. The B-Class Night Edition also dons similar visual makeovers like its sibling.

While the exterior has received the above mentioned upgrades, the interior too has been updated to portray a more appealing look. Both the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the B-Class Night Edition models gain leather wrapping on the multi-function steering wheel, a larger eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Apart from these, the luxury hatchbacks also feature updated seat and upholstery material with ARTICO leather and fabric that get contrast stitching. The seats have received cushion length adjustment feature that offer more comfort than the regular model.

While the exterior and interior of both the A-Class and the B-Class Night Edition have received several upgrades, the powertrain remains unchanged. As in the regular A-Class and B-Class, power source is either a 1.6 petrol or a 2.2 diesel. Speaking about the launch of both the vehicles, Mr. Roland Folger, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz India has said that the Night Edition introduce youthful design language to both the hatchbacks. He hopes that with the Night Edition, more attention and sales can be garnered.
