Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ is powered by 4.0 L Twin Turbo V8 engine producing 603 hp of power and 850 Nm of torque
Mercedes-AMG is going to launch E63 S 4Matic+ in India on May 4 at Buddh International Circuit. Globally, Mercedes is offering two variants of E63 which is a regular model and a powerful S model. We are getting the performance S model in India. Mercedes AMG E63 S made its global debut at 2016 Los Angels Auto Show.
The AMG E63 S is powered by 4.0 L Twin Turbo V8 engine producing 603 hp of power and 850 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to dual clutch 9 speed automatic transmission. 0-100 kph in 3.3 sec which is faster than AMG GT R sports car and top speed is limited to 250 kph.

But if you opt for performance pack, then the E63 S will reach 300 kph and it is still electronically limited. Mercedes is offering different modes like Sports, Comfort, Normal, Sports+ and Race. To put all these 603 horse on tarmac, Mercedes is offering 4Matic all wheel drive system.
The party piece of E63 S is its drift mode, which will switch off the traction control completely and all the power will be sent to the rear wheels for more fun. Mercedes AMG is offering drift mode as standard on S model while regular E63 get it as option only.

Mercedes has also given cylinder deactivation technology which will help E63 S to frugal also. As part of the options, Mercedes AMG is offering carbon ceramic brakes, electronically controlled different lock, dynamic engine mounts and more. The overall design of E63 S is similar to regular E Class but there are some changes to make it stand out.
The front gets new bumper and bigger air-intake along with 20 inch AMG alloy wheels and rear get sports exhaust and new bumper. The interior of E63 S is just as sporty as outside as AMG has given all black interior theme with new three spoke flat bottom steering wheel, AMG Performance seats and new instrument cluster.
Mercedes will import E63 S and it will be priced at Rs. 1 Crore. Later this year, BMW will officially launch new M5 in India, which is the direct competitor of E63. The epic battle of super saloons will begin again with new generation of respective models.
