It is being said that BMW Motorrad dealerships across the nation are currently offering a package of benefits, including a cash discount of Rs 40,000 along with a free insurance scheme and some genuine accessories. These offers vary a little across the dealerships, but mostly, you benefit from offers worth around INR 70,000, regardless of the store you visit.
Other than the discounts list above, select dealerships are also offering attractive finance options and some additional cash discounts. While the BMW G 310 R is a street naked, the G 310 GS is a full-blown adventure motorcycle that looks the part.
The BMW G 310 R as well as the BMW G 310 GS are underpinned by a steel trellis chassis, with a separate sub-frame. Both the motorcycles come with the same braking setup, same engine, and many similar features. But in terms of the riding experience, both are really different from each other.
The BMW G 310 R gets 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels that are shod with grippy Michelin tyres. On the other hand, the BMW G 310 GS gets a 19-inch alloy wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear. These are shod with MetzelerTourance tires that help the motorcycle easily go off the road. Powering both the motorcycles is a reverse-inclined 313.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that pushes out 34 hp of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
