Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is becoming a common sight on the roads, here are five modifications based on the SUV that makes it look different on the road
The Maruti Vitara Brezza has become the best-selling utility vehicle in the Indian market. The sub-4-meter compact SUV has gained immense popularity in the market and has gained the top spot in the market.
The Vitara Brezza is fast becoming a common sight on the Indian roads. However, there are a few owners who go the extra mile to ensure that their ride looks different on the road. Here are few such Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza SUVs that have been modified in India.
1. DC Designed Vitara Brezza
The popular car modification house – DC Designs had also worked on the Vitara Brezza in the past and has completely changed the way it looks in the stock form. DC Designs gave the Vitara Brezza a new identity. The SUV gets a new grille with new, big size honeycomb shape. The headlamps are stock though.
The bumper has been updated with a new one and the similar honeycomb grille can be seen inserted in it. The grille also gets two LED stripes on the air dams. Even the lower bumper gets an integrated skid plate, which is of different colour in the stock Vitara Brezza.
At the rear, it gets an outlandish looking bumper with the same large honeycomb-shaped grille while the lower part of the bumper gets integrated quad exhausts!
2. The Jeep effect
The Jeep brand has a massive global presence in India too, the brand has been very well-received. Even though their most affordable car is priced above Rs. 10 lakhs, it is doing well in the market.
However, there are many who still feel that the Jeep is out of their budget. What do they do? Well, they put a Jeep inspired grille on their vehicle to make it look like a real Jeep.
There are many Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezzas in India that have received the Jeep-inspired grille. This is one such cars and it looks quite good. The other changes in the compact SUV include faux skid plate and bumper inserts that are the part of Maruti’s official iCreate customisation.
3. Land Rover
Just like the Jeep grille, there are quite a few enthusiasts who like the Land Rover SUVs more than anything but their exorbitant prices keep them out of reach from many enthusiasts. Here is such a Maruti Suzuki Brezza that gets aftermarket Land Rover grille inspired by the Range Rover Sport and the Discover.
They both look quite good on the Brezza but add a “wannabe” tag to them. Such grilles are easily available across the country and can be installed quickly to change the whole look of the SUV. They are straight fits to the Vitara Brezza after removing the stock grille and instantly changes the way it looks.
4. 4X4
Even though it is a compact SUV, a 4X4 variant of the Vitara is not available in India. Well, this is the only 4X4 conversion done on a Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza making it unique. The conversion was done by Maruti’s R&D division and the one-off model is built for pure rally racing.
It is not available for sale but enthusiasts can sure convert their own Vitara Brezza SUVs into 4X4. Made for rally, the Vitara Brezza seen in the pictures has got the front bumper removed for better approach angle. The engine has been updated to the 1.6-litre Fiat Multijet unit for better performance in rally.
The 4X4 system has been taken from the Suzuki AllGrip models that are on sale in the international markets. You will be surprised to know that even Maruti Suzuki Ignis is offered in AWD in many international markets. This sure would make for an amazing off-roading vehicle.
5. Rugged
Maruti Vitara Brezza is not meant of extreme off-roading and does not get the beasty visual looks too. But it sure can be changed with a few modifications as shown in this picture. The Vitara Brezza seen here gets an aftermarket grille, which has multiple horizontal slats in it.
The side of the body gets a faux air intake scoop while the D-pillar also gets fake scoops. The bonnet of the Vitara Brezza gets a faux air scoop while the lower bumper gets new skid plates. It also gets aftermarket tyres and roof mounted carrier that give it a very rugged look.
