Within just 28 months of launching locally, the Vitara Brezza has become the fastest to reach the three lakh unit sales milestone
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has stated officially that the Vitara Brezza subcompact SUV has blasted past three lakh sales mark in the domestic since it was launched in March 2016. Having made a highlighting debut at the 2016 Auto Expo as Maruti Suzuki bucked the trend of being a small car manufacturer, the Vitara Brezza took the sales chart by storm and made an immediate impact.
It tapped the underlying potential in the subcompact SUV segment and led the way for other car brands to explore the vast possibility. Within just 28 months of launching locally, the Vitara Brezza has become the fastest to reach the three lakh unit sales milestone.

The SUV came with plenty of customisation options and popularised dual-tone colour scheme as well. The largest car maker in the country says the contribution of the top-end variants in the cumulative sales of Vitara Brezza has been about 56 percent.
The SUV gained noticeable exterior updates, a new colour option and AGS (Auto Gear Shift) as part of the 2018 updates and it has also been well received by customers. The Vitara Brezza comes equipped with safety features such as pedestrian safety ahead of government mandate comes into effect.

It gets ISOFIX child restraint system, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), reverse parking sensors, high speed warning alert, dual front airbags as well as front seat belt pre-tensioners and force limiters standard across the range.
The success of Vitara Brezza is testament to the fact that Maruti Suzuki’s latest launches have been a huge hit. The company’s premium stature and perception among buyers have shot up to a new level and it will be keen to keep up the momentum going with the upcoming Ciaz facelift, new generation Ertiga and a muted small SUV based on Concept Future S.
