Maruti Swift Red Speedster package comes with exterior and interior accessories making the hatchback stand out from the regular model
Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most popular models of the company in India. The third generation Swift introduced last year is also selling really well and the hatchback can be customized using the iCreate personalization website. Instead of picking individual parts, the Swift comes with two packages – Red Speedster and Verve Glider.
In this article, we take a close look at the Red Speedster package and it is available for all variants and the total cost of the package is Rs. 21,847. The exterior accessories in the Red Speedster package include rear upper spoiler finished in fire red colour, body side moulding fire red garnish, fire red garnish on the front bumper, fog lamp garnish and back door garnish.
The interior package is limited to just designer mat- red circuit and drag racer red runner seat cover. Along with this, the company is offering a tissue bottle finished in black as part of the add-on package. All these parts can be individually purchased and these minor changes make the Swift sportier.
The Swift is available in six colour options – Lucent Orange, Silky Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Solid Fire Red, Magma Grey and Midnight Blue. The Red Speedster package will look really good in Pearl Arctic White colour as the red and white combination works well than other options. The total cost of the package will be similar across cities.
Maruti Suzuki is offering the Swift with two engine options – the 1.2 L K-Series petrol engine produces 83 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. The 1.3 L DDiS engine sourced from FCA puts out 75 PS of max power at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. These engines are mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
The new Swift is based on the Heartect platform, which makes it lighter than its predecessor. The exterior design theme is evolutionary while the interior gets a completely new modern design. The hatchback is loaded with features like touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, projector headlamps, reverse camera, dual-airbags, ABS with EBD and more.
