Maruti Suzuki is focusing more on premium cars for Indian market

People’s car maker of India Maruti Suzuki is focusing on premium cars, and more features inside its cars. rumors suggest that, the Indo Japanese auto manufacture will offer Harman Kardon audio system in its future cars. The automaker has already started introducing the touchscreen infotainment system like upmarket features inside the cabin. And now the company plans to introduce more premium features.

Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ignis is expected to launch within few months in Indian market. This car would come sporting a Harman Kardon developed audio system. The Harman Kardon is known for developing audio system for premium car manufactures. But now the company has entered into the entry level segment as well, which definitely occupies more volume than premium cars.

The Tata Motors already offers cars like Zest, Bolt, Tiago with the Harman Kardon developed audio systems. Being India’s largest auto manufacturer Maruti Suzuki also taking part in the race. While the Ignis is likely to be the first car from the Indo Japanese automaker to get Harman Kardon developed audio system, other models will also receive the same.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno comes with a touchscreen infotainment system, but it doesn’t sport Harman Kardon audio system. It would receive the same once the car receives a major facelift later. The company is yet to strike a partnership with the Harman Kardon.

Meanwhile the company plans to launch several models in few years, and all of these models will come sporting upmarket design and features. The performance spec Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS is expected to launch during this festive season. While later the Ignis is coming in Indian market.
