Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza production ramped up; 1,00,000 units will be manufactured this fiscal

Maruti Suzuki released price listing for the Vitara Brezza on March 8th and the deliveries for the subcompact SUV began on March 25th. The leading car maker in the country has managed to receive over 37,000 bookings and over 5,500 units were dispatched last month. The Indo-Japanese company’s entry into the sub-4m SUV segment has indeed been a revelation as the popularity of Vitara Brezza surged big time.

In the event of receiving more bookings and to slash down the increasing months of waiting period, it is said that the brand has ramped up production of the model by 20,000 units. From initially planned 80,000 units, the Vitara Brezza sees increase to 1,00,000 units per annum to cater for the demands. The overwhelming response was evident from the fact that about 5,600 bookings were made within 48 hours of the bookings opening.
