Maruti Suzuki has seen immense success with its compact SUV Vitara Brezza. Within a short period of time, this car grabbed the top spot in the bestselling compact SUVs in the country. The attractive and unique design language, upmarket features inside the cabin have played major role in making this one popular. Now, IAB has published a rendering image of the Vitara Brezza Off-roader that appears very much rugged and bold compared to the regular model.

The rendered image shows the SUV with a heavily accessorised front fascia that incorporates extra pair of headlamps offering stronger illumination, a metal bulbar, metal front bumper and a thick skid plate delicvering higher approach angle and there is an integrated winch as well.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Off-roader comes with chunky and wider off-road-spec tyres that deliver better grip. The suspension has been raised to give the car a higher ground clearance ensuring more capability to run on rough treacherous terrains. The roof-box on top offer more storage alongside the standard model’s 328-litre capacity boot space.

Apart from the above mentioned accessories, the Vitara Brezza Off-roader looks similar as the standard model. The Vitara Brezza is the bestselling utility vehicle in the country with more than 1.20 lakh units sold since its launch in March last year. The standard model is priced between Rs. 7.26 lakh and Rs. 9.92 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Interestingly, this compact SUV has done well in Maruti’s off-road rallies even in its standard specs. Therefore a customised and heavily accessorised version like the rendered model will surely enhance the car’s capability to take on rough roads. Power source for the vehicle is a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine is capable of churning out 90 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque alongside 24.3 kmpl of fuel efficiency.
