On Maruti Suzuki’s NEXA range of vehicles, benefits worth up to a maximum of Rs. 47,500 are being offered this month (July 2021)
The automobile industry of India has recorded a strong sales recovery last month, and we expect that to continue as the lockdown continues to recede across the country. Carmakers have been offering lucrative discounts on their vehicles now, in order to attract more customers and boost sales. Maruti Suzuki is also offering a few interesting deals on its Nexa range of cars this month, which we have detailed below.
Maruti Ignis has a cash discount of Rs. 20,000 on offer, but only on the base ‘Sigma’ trim. The cash discount is worth Rs. 15,000 on the ‘Delta’ trim, and Rs. 10,000 on the ‘Zeta’ and ‘Alpha’ trims. On all the variants, an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 5,000 are available.
As for the Baleno, there are no discounts on offer on the CVT variants. On the manual side of things, the cash discount is worth Rs. 25,000 on the ‘Sigma’ variant, Rs. 15,000 on the ‘Delta’ variant, and Rs. 12,500 on the ‘Zeta’ and ‘Alpha’ variants. Regardless of the variant chosen, a corporate discount of Rs. 5,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000 are available.
On Maruti Ciaz, there is no cash discount available. However, an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 and a corporate discount Rs. 7,500 are being offered on the sedan. As for the XL6, there are no official deals and offers available on it this month.
The S-Cross has a cash discount of Rs. 15,000 available on the base ‘Sigma’ trim. On all other variants, the cash discount is higher, at Rs. 25,000. An exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 7,500 are also being offered, on all variants of the Maruti SUV.

In other news, Maruti Suzuki is planning to reintroduce diesel engines in its lineup next year. The company is working on upgrading its currently-discontinued 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine to meet the BS6 emission norms. This updated powerplant is expected to launch on the XL6 first, followed by Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, and Ciaz.
