Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) sells a range of cars at its Nexa premium dealerships including the Baleno, Ignis, Ciaz and XL6. The XL6 sits at the bottom of the range while the flagship Grand Vitara midsize SUV made its way to the showrooms a few weeks ago. The five-seater has a high demand its waiting period stands at up to 5.5 weeks depending on the variants chosen.

The Baleno premium hatch competes against Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20 in India and the heavily updated version made its local debut earlier this year. It harbingered a pattern of launches with new features and technologies shared across the portfolio. The Baleno has been on sale since late 2015 and is one of the best-selling hatchbacks in the country.

The Baleno has a waiting period of three to four weeks across all petrol variants (Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha) while the AMT variants have it up to 18 weeks. Customers waiting to own the Delta Petrol AMT, Zeta Petrol AMT and Alpha Petrol AMT variants will have to wait between sixteen and eighteen weeks to take home delivery.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 has a waiting period between six and eight weeks for the Zeta and Alpha manual variants while the Alpha Plus MT has it at four to six weeks. The XL6 Zeta AT has a waiting period of fourteen to sixteen weeks and the range-topping Alpha Plus manual and six-speed torque converter automatic transmission equipped Alpha Plus AT have it at ten to twelve weeks.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is currently priced between Rs. lakh and Rs. lakh (ex-showroom) and it has a waiting period of three to four weeks across all manual and automatic variants namely Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The Ignis hatchback has a waiting between six and eight weeks for Delta, Zeta and Alpha AMT trims in India.

The Baleno-based SUV coupe is expected to make its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo and it will likely be sold through the Nexa outlets as well.
