Maruti Suzuki Jimny deliveries are anticipated to start during the second week of May in India; seven colours to be available
The 5-door Jimny lifestyle SUV was unveiled by Maruti Suzuki at the 2023 Auto Expo in January of this year. Soon after the unveiling, the highly anticipated five-door Jimny’s official bookings began. In order to reserve the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny online or at an authorised NEXA shop, a token amount of Rs 25,000 must be paid. The well-liked off-roader will go on sale in the second week of May 2023, though the precise launch date has not yet been revealed by the company.
Powertrain
There will be two trim options available for the five-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Zeta and Alpha. The 1.5-litre K15B 4-cylinder petrol engine, which has an idle start/stop capability for enhanced fuel efficiency, will power both models. Its engine can generate 103 PS at 6,000 rpm and 134 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
There will be a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission available. Furthermore, the AllGrip Pro system from Maruti Suzuki is installed on this off-road vehicle.
Features
The new Jimny 5-door features a 24° break-over angle, a 50° departure angle, and an approach angle of 36°. The SUV’s sturdy ladder-on-frame structure supports a 210mm ground clearance. The lifestyle SUV has a variety of features including a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument console, LED headlamps with washers, 15-inch alloy wheels in gunmetal finish, a spare wheel mounted on the bootlid, etc.
The SUV boasts six airbags, hill hold control, hill descent control, and brake controlled slip differential for safety and security. The Jimny will be offered in seven single-tone and two dual-tone colour combinations: Granite Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, Sizzling Red, and Kinetic Yellow + Bluish Black Roof.

The Maruti Jimny comes in two versions and seven colour options including Sizzling Red with Bluish Black roof, Kinetic Yellow with Black Roof, Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, and Pearl Arctic White.
Other Updates
With the NEXA dealership network, the new Jimny 5-door will be sold alongside the Grand Vitara and the Fronx. More than 25,000 people have already pre-ordered the SUV. It is expected to cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh.
