Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) had retailed a total of 1,60,598 units in the financial year ending month of March 2018. The major contributors had been in the local market as 1,48,582 units were sold while 12,016 units were shipped abroad. During the same month last year, the largest automaker in the country sold 1,39,763 units.

This marks March 2018 another successful month for Maruti Suzuki as it registered 8,819 deliveries more than what it managed in the same month back in 2017. As a whole, the 12 months of the financial year 2017-18 have attributed to its highest ever sale. In total, 17,79,574 were sold at a major surge of 13.4 percent.
